The hotel was a mixed experience with some pleasant and some unpleasant aspects. The rooms had equipment from the 80s that barely worked but were very clean and even had the cardio equipment I needed. They were large enough for us to store our bicycles safely. The service was a mix of distracted moments at the front desk but approachable and helpful staff, including some with inspiring stories of second chances. The location was convenient to Wake Forest University and many stores and restaurants, yet my overall experience was half pleasant and half unpleasant. The dining options were limited but of good quality for a hotel buffet.
